Paper Publication
Companions, I have good news. Soon after the New Year, publication No. 9 will be mailed to you. It covers from January 2005 through September 2008. I apologize for being so long with this publication. It was due to my medical problems in 2007 and 2008 and other things. From the Desk of the Secretary,
Companions, This chapter was founded for the purpose of non-ritual Masonic Research, preferably Royal Arch. It was also founded on the idea of working around as many conflicts as possible. That is why you see the meetings on different dates and months each year. This year the months of January, February, March and April are full of local Masonic activities. January 10th was the only date in January available due to the Khedive Shrine’s Annual meeting on January 3rd and the following: “Festival of Rites.” January 17th a Royal Arch Festival throughout the state. January 17th a Commandery Festival throughout the state and January 31st a Scottish Rite Festival throughout the state. This area is very active and we try to work around this when possible. The by-laws of the chapter allow the High Priest to set the dates and places for the meeting except in September which is the Annual Stated Convocation for the Annual Reports and the Election and Installation of Officers. When this chapter began it dedicated its time to research and a few introductions. Over the years it went to full introductions and less research. Our High Priest this year wants to go back to the original and have less introductions and more research. He plans on having at least two papers at each Convocation. |
