The Purpose of ))VaMason((.org is to provide Masonic Lodges under the jusistiction of the Grand Lodge of the Commonwealth of Virginia and other concordant and appendant bodies facilities to maintain websites at no cost.

This is a community site for the whole Masonic Family. Members may easily enter content for their organizations using tools provided by this site.

For more information see the flyer and contact me, Bruce L. Van Buren, Webmaster, to express your interest. I am willing to create a main page and update it annually for bodies, where I have not already volunteered to be webmaster as a result of being an active member or some special circumstance, if I receive content and it doesn’t get out of hand (a good thing) i.e. I’m not going to do that for every Masonic body in Virginia.

This site is not supported by the Grand Lodge of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Sites with only a home page and a calendar entry are not necessarily the official home page for that organization.

The easiest why to get your events advertised to the membership is to use the Virginia Masonic Calendar at vamason.org. See Calendar Help for more information. This is suitable for planning as well as last minute changes.

Each body should appoint a webmaster. If desired, they will be given FTP access to your site and a limited number of e-mail addresses (e.g. brucevb@vamason.org. These can be directed to an exist e-mail account. I can provide technical support as my "free" time permits and the limited resources at my disposal.
