Answer  By referencing a picture file. A simple example is:

{img src=img/wiki_up/picture.jpg}

This happens to be where the Wiki editor puts you upload using it.

Pictures can be other places. Just change the source definition. Examples:

You can size it, align it, add a description to show below it, and link it.

A complete example:

height width desc link and align are optional.

• Align may be left, right, center.
• desc defines the desciption

  • FireFTP extension to FireFox
• Put it in the photo album: http://album.vamason.org
  • Email for the password or see AlbumAccess (restricted to Editors)
  • If you are able, create a new album.

  • User:
  • Upload a folder of photos.
  • Email with the folder name & I'll move it to your new or existing album.
  • If you haven't created an album, I will.

  • album.vamason.org automatically create several standard sizes
• Name the file something unique like noXX_officers2004.jpg.
• Don't use spaces in the file name.
• Upper/lower case characters is always important.

1. Use the browse button after the Upload Picture field.
2. Select your picture.
3. Click on the Preview button.

It should automatically enter
{picture file=img/wiki-up//yourpicture.jpg}
and display the picture. Make some changes and preview again. When you are satisfied, click on the save button.

I suggest changing the // to a single /.
Also {imp scr=xx.xx} gives you more control.

Width can be given as the number of pixels or a percentage of the window.

Answer  Color can be a color name like white or blue or the color hex like #FF0000.

To display green text like text or text use the following format:
~~#00FF00:text~~ or ~~green:text~~

Most standard color names will work. To be more specific use color hex. Start the color hex with a #. Hex digit values range from 0 through 9 and A through F. There are 3 pairs of hex numbers. The first two indicate how red it sould be, the 2nd two how green and the last two how blue. So black is #000000 and white is #FFFFFF.

Answer  Yep, Wiki tables aren't pretty until you click save. Even then they aren't all that fancy, but I digress.

Build your table with Microsoft Word or some other word processor oe text editor. In Word:

1. Select the text
2. In the Table menu select Convert > Text to Table...
3. Find the section Separate text at
4. Select Other
5. Enter |
6. Click OK
7. Highlight the converted text
8. Paste it into the Wiki edit window.
9. Preview or Save your Wiki page.

If you already have a table in the Wiki, copy it, paste it into Word, and convert text to table using | as the delimiter. Edit your table and proceed as above.
