+ Brethren, Please come out to Lynnhaven Lodge to hear Dame Mary Barraco speak to us about her life experiences as a Freedom Fighter for the Belgium Resistance and later for the French Underground. This presentation is open to your whole family, please bring your friends. Do not miss this opportunity to listen to Mary's intriguing story of about her life experiences at the hands of the Germans in World War II. You will be amazed by Mary���s indomitable spirit and deeply touched by all that Mary endured. How after being captured, imprisoned and relentlessly tortured by the Germans, Mary never gave up or gave in. After the war Mary was invited by the King of Belgium to attend a ceremony in her honor, where she was knighted and was given the title of ���Dame���. Mary has spoken all over the world and has received numerous awards and is recognized in the holocaust museum in Richmond, Virginia.<br /><br />Mary will speak for about 30 minutes; a one hour video will be shown afterwards of a play written about Mary���s life, performed by student actors from Bluefield College. It is an excellent performance that captures the true story of an amazing person. Soft drinks and tea will be available, feel free to bring your own snacks. You all do not want to miss the chance to spend a brief moment with Mary and hear her story. You will not be disappointed. We hope to see you all on the 17th of May.<br />

+  A big thanks to all who helped prepare and serve the meal at our Annual Stated and to Worshipful Cliff for picking up the poinsettias and preparing the names, maps, and to all the Brethren who helped deliver them.  My hat goes off to the "Mud Tux Guys" for not leaving any Brethren stuck in the mud after our annual stated meeting.  <br />
